Job description
At Red Orbit, we don’t just "do" marketing; we use data and technology to drive measurable growth. We are looking for an SEO Specialist who is ready to take ownership of organic growth strategies and help our clients dominate their digital landscape.
This role is designed for a naturally curious, analytical, and result-driven professional. While we provide a supportive environment for growth, we are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running. If you already have a foundation in SEO, we will provide the advanced tools and strategic responsibility to help you scale your skills quickly, manage more complex technical challenges, and lead your own projects.
You will work alongside our Senior experts on diverse projects for well-known brands. This is a role where your initiative is directly rewarded: the more expertise you bring, the more autonomy you will have to shape strategies and see the direct impact of your work on a site's global performance.
What you will work on
Strategic planning: Assisting and later participating in the development of long-term organic growth strategies that align with broader business goals.
Technical audits & Implementation: Assisting with and then leading comprehensive website audits to identify and resolve technical issues (crawling, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and site architecture).
On-page & Content strategy: Assisting with and later performing advanced keyword research and mapping to guide content teams in creating high-performing, search-optimized ecosystems. Generating and refining SEO-friendly content and briefs that balance search engine requirements with a compelling user experience.
Data intelligence & Reporting: Utilizing a wide stack of tools (GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog etc.) to extract actionable insights, track ROI and help and prepare reports for the clients.
Competitor & Market analysis: Monitoring industry shifts and competitor tactics to identify "blue ocean" opportunities for our clients.
Cross-team integration: Working with our performance and content teams to ensure SEO supports a unified multichannel strategy.

Job requirements
Passion for digital: A strong interest in SEO, digital marketing, and how the internet works; willingness to learn about other areas in the marketing mix and how digital fits together.
SEO experience: 1–3 years of experience in an SEO or digital marketing role (agency experience is a strong plus).
Technical SEO knowledge: A basic understanding of technical SEO (HTML/CSS, JS libraries, and CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Magento).
Analytical thinking: You enjoy digging into complex data to find patterns and opportunities (Excel/Google Sheets skills are a plus).
Communication skills: Excellent written and spoken Slovenian and English (additional languages, like Croatian, is an advantage); ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-starter attitude: Ability to define priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of a client’s organic performance.
A degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field is an advantage, but your drive to learn is more important.
Digital competencies and knowledge:
Basic understanding of Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and similar tools.
Basic understanding of Google analytics and concepts of digital analytics.
Understanding of other marketing activities that impact SEO performance.
Ability to use popular CMS platforms such as Magento, Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, etc.
Advanced knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office tools.
